Jurassic Coast

Initially I planned to post a few fotos as days go by. But a couple of you are so excited that they want to see the photos from the coast straight away  ( I don't blame them, not often one gets to see the Jurassic coast ). These photos were taken over the course of 2 days. The first day was a washout  . It was cold and the kids weren't really prepared. It rained heavily too so an hour after we started walking down the beach, we had to abandon the mission.
The second day turned out lovely. Sunny and comfortably warm. Although Jr and Sja ended up sitting in the car after he ( Jr ) needed a wee badly a couple of hours into chiselling He had refused to come back to where I was ( because it meant he had to walk all the way which was quite far ). Anyways, I was with Aishah, hacking and chiselling the side of the cliff looking for ammonites. There were lots of ammonite cast in the rocks and the actual stone sediments ( last two photos ) that had taken the shape of the ammonites millions of years after the animal died.
There's more photos of the coast after this. We visited another part of the coast , away from the fossil site. Will post more when I get the time.

Deghian dan Remotan

Hah..ni dia durian import dari Thailand. Harga ada tertera pada plastik pembungkus tu. 3/4 ulas = Singapore dollar $12 - $16. Satu kilogram, �£10.00 ( SGD $33.00 ) Ni kes makan pakai sudu emas  ! Ada juga bau asli duriannya. Kalau dah lekatkan paket kat idong, mesti lah berbau.. bila hidung dah terbau, iman dok bergoncang, rasa cam nak belik...tapi takper, jalan terus, tak angkat pon . Tu pasal time balik SG kelmarin, pukul abis !!! Rambutan tu pulak, kalau tak beriya iya betul, tak payahlah beli. SEPLOH biji, harganya �£1.79 dalam linkungan SGD$6.00. Kalau yang masih merah tu, nampak juga cantiknya. Tapi kalau yang hitam tu.... saper yang nak beli ? Uh ..uh..uuuh...dah nampak macam rambut wig pulak..tengok ajerlah..
This is the imported durian sold in the UK. I guess they must come from Thailand. For 3 - 4 erm..ulas kata omputeh apa?...erm 3/4 individual seed portion *hentam sajerlah*, it will set you back around �£4.20 - �£5.00 .

Pokok ni, bersebelahan dgn sungei. Takder orang heran pon dgn pokok berbuah lebat tu. Tapi, bayangkan kalau pokok tu pokok mangga ker , pokok rambutan ker yang tumbuh di tepi sungei di Singapura. Mesti dah kena baling dgn batu, jolok dgn galah, dahan mesti dah patah patah dek kena panjat
